Very light weight, great for young people and beginners. Also with the light weight and flex, these are great for striking each other's Bo, in partner work. They don't dent up to easily. Accidental strikes to your partner are more bare able, than using a heavy oak Bo. Nice and straight, so Ok for styles where you need to slide your hands. They get a bit tacky when damp.
